What Causes Curvature Of Penis On Right Side?

Hello, I had a injection to prepare for a Doppler ultrasound to evaluate the blood flow in my penis. I have been having a hard time maintaining an erection and this was to explore the possible causes.
I was given a shot on the right side of my penis, but it did not give me an erection, instead, the right side swelled up some causing my penis to curve sharply to the left.
I have never seen my penis curve like that before. Normally my erections are straight.
Is it common to see the penis curve immediately after using an injection?
The doctor told me he only used a small amount of injection because he did not want to risk priapism, which is understandable. I wanted to rule out the possibility of venous leak, but I'm not sure if this can be ruled out as I did not get an erection. The doctor said I had good blood flow, but that was it.
disparity between two corporal bodies was the reason
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for writing again.
The curvature of the penis that you got on Rt side was due to fact that your corpora on Rt side was filled with blood where as Left corpora did not get filled with blood. This disparity between two corporal bodies was the reason for curvature of penis on Rt side.
Ideally, Doctor performing the scan should have completed the procedure to rule out blood flow and venous flow studies to rule out venous leak on left side which I think to be most probable cause of your left corporal body not getting erection.
If possible Please repeat the procedure .
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions
I shall be happy to help you
Thanks and Regards.

Does this really mean venous leakage is probable on the left side? The doctor thought it was just nerves (causing me to not get an erection) which I admit I was stressed.
I can get an erection sometimes and I don't really have a disparity on one side or the other, with Viagra I've been able to get hard longer lasting erections.
Is a complete erection during the exam required to rule out venous leakage?
He continued the ultrasound but didn't seem alarmed, I asked about venous leak and he just told me he thought it was nerves overriding.
Color Doppler Scan will not diagnose nerve overriding.

Hello.
Thanks for the followup.
Color Doppler scan can reveal only a vascular anomaly and not a nerve defect.
Please repeat scan to rule out a venous leak etc.
There is nothing to be worried if you are getting good hard erection after taking Viagra.
The only question remains whether to rule out a venous leak.

The doctor I just saw seemed to think it was mostly psychological. He did check the venous flow with the Doppler, although I wasn't really erect during the exam.
The uneven draining (one corporal body getting filled more than the other) really makes me wonder.
From what I understand venous leak is mostly incurable?
I do have one other question, when doing the injection is it better to get a semi-erection (blood flow to the penis) before injecting? To administer the injection you have to puncture the tunica. I am someone that grows a LOT from flaccid to erect, more than normal. Which got me thinking, if you inject in the shrunk state, would that cause a larger puncture through the tunica than when the penis is larger and the tunica is more stretched out?
Injection is given to achieve erection when penis is fin flaccid state .

Hello
Thanks for follow up. Inj Caverjet ot Trimet is given in small doses to achieve erection and to study arterial blood flow velocity and venous pressure and to trace out whether there is any venous leak as a cause of ED.
Injecting Caverjet with 26 no gauge needle will not cause any large puncture in Tunica Albugenia .
Please upload your penile scan report so as to make comments .
Thanks and Regards.

bilateral cavernosal artery: psv/edv (cm/sec): approx 20/<5 XXXXXXX rigidity: 5/10
updated g on arterial flow seen and no obvious plaques or tears seen in the tunica, scanned area of reported injury without pathology found"
Come to think of it, I'm not sure if he was focused on ruling out venous leak, or more looking for plaques and evaluating the site where I had an injury a month and a half ago.
Get it repeated with some other Radiologist.

Hello
Thanks for follow up.It is rather incomplete scan .Get it repeated with some other Radiologist to be rest assured about venous leak as a cause of your ED.
Thanks and Regards.
