What Causes Cyst On Breast That Appears Suddenly?

Question: My husband leaned against me and I thought a cyst popped in my right breast. I just had my yearly GYN exam and she didn't feel anything. Can a cyst come up that quickly? Now I'm sore on that side. Could that be from the liquid in the cyst. XXXXXXX at YYYY@YYYY

Cysts do not appear like that!
It may be there but may be it came to notice after the encounter.
If there is pointed firm hit then there can form a hematoma in the tissues that can be sudden in appearance and may be painful also.
In either case it is advisable that you revisit your gynecologist and get either an ultrasound of breast or mammography.
