Not related to hair transplantation
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Welcome to healthcare magic.
I understand from your query that you are having multiple symptoms 4 weeks after getting a hair transplantation done and you are now concerned if those could be related to the procedure.
The symptoms which you have mentioned including high blood pressure, headache, blocked ear sensation, etc do not seem to related to the hair transplantation procedure. Hair transplantation involves only the dermis level of the skin and there is no connection with the underlying structures including the brain. You do not have to worry if there is any problem with the brain or the eye due to the transplantation procedure.
Even if infection does occur, it is usually confined to the site of transplant ( usually the donor site from the back of the scalp). It will be confined to the hair follicles and present as small boils on the scalp itself.
As far as your symptoms are concerned, I suggest you to go ahead with your physician's evaluation to look for a cause.
Hope I have put your mind at ease.
If you have any more queries, I would be glad to assist.
Take care.

Dr. Johny Chacko
No serious complications
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Your symptoms do not suggest any sort of nerve damage or an allergic reaction to any medicine. Nerve damage does not occur with hair transplantation.
The hair is transplanted only a few millimeters into the skin. It does not go into the deeper layers of the scalp.
I understand that you are quite anxious about the procedure. I would advise you to follow up with the physician so that you are reassured that you do not have any major illness.
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health,

Flu/ Anxiety attack
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Greetings!
You have mentioned in your initial query that your doctor has advised a full body scan. I suggest that you could follow up with him itself. Or you could consult a general physician.
Opticians and ophthalmologists can have look at the retina, the inner most layer of the eye. Swelling of the retina could indicate a brain edema. since this has been ruled out, you need not worry.
In my opinion, you seem to having extreme anxiety related to the procedure. I would also advise you meet a counsellor to discuss these anxieties. Dry mouth, dry eyes, headache, bodyache and other somatic symptoms you are experiencing suggest a panic disorder.
Such symptoms could also be seen in case of a common flu.
Do not worry.
Follow the advise if the doctor you have been seeing.
I am sure since all the test reports are normal, you will be fine.
Wishing you good health,
Dr. Johny Chacko
