it is a unilateral migraine with sensitivity to light and sound and lots of nausea but no vomiting. it is a pain like a headband around my head constant pain. it is more severe at night and when i wake up making it difficult to fall and stay asleep which can cause some stress because i cannot get a good nights rest
no fever or visual loss but some fatigue. have been taking things like Excedrin migraine and other common medications. i am also prescribed diclofenac sodium for swelling in my scapula as well as tramadol for the pain which i don't take unless it gets severe. the migraines have been causing severe pain in my neck.

Get evaluated by a neurologist and follow instructions
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
You should follow a healthy lifestyle.
Take timely breakfast and lunch.
Avoid excessive tea, coffee or chocolates.
Adequate sleep and stress free life is important.
I usually suggest amitriptyline once at night and flunarizine in evening for migraine prophylaxis.
Other options like topiramate, divalproate and propranolol can be used if required.
Visit to a Neurologist for a prescription.
Drugs like naproxen can be used for acute pain.
Hope you found the answer helpful. Do get back to me for further information.
