What Causes Dark Black Stool, Stomach Cramps And Migraine?

Question: hello, i went to the bathroom and my stool was dark black. my stomach feels crampy, and i have a horrible migraine. i have taken my pulse several times and its 62.
a little background-i had chocolate cake (could this black stool be caused by food coloring)
a few days ago i fell very hard on ice. i suffered a laceration on my elbow and received stitches so i havent felt good for several days and my bowel movements have been irregular.

The first thing occurring me is side effects of medication you might have taken for wound healing, may have caused irregular bowel, gastric erosion,and bleeding.
Chocolate cake few days ago , unlikely to cause black stool.
62 pulse rate if inconsistent should be investigated.Though it is not that abnormal, if it remains plus or minus five(This much variation is OK).
