Brief Answer:
Please provide the following information. ..

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

I have gone through the photo you uploaded and I can say as following :
- it's not typical for bull's eye rash unless you noted just recently. It's characterised by increase in size. Have you noted such increase since you first saw thst?

- it's dark blue, have you applied any medication locally : gentian violet solution? Or this is its color since beginning?

- any recent contact with pets?

I need to have the requested information first before running into final conclusions.
Thank you

hi... yes it has increased in size over a few days maybe 5 day period. I have not applied any medicine, lotion, cream or anything to it. my daughter has a couple small dogs. i visit her at her house every couple days, so yes I have been in contact with two cute little dogs.

Brief Answer:
Consult with your doctor as soon as possible&get further tests to confirm..

Detailed Answer:
Hi back,

Thank you for providing the requested info.

From what you are reporting, and taking into account that you visited your daughter who has a couple of small dogs in her house, I need to know if:
- they do not have any skin problem (e.g. patches)
- if she gets them vaccinated regularly

If no such problems, then, as I was reviewing the photos again, I noticed that the color is more like bruising than a rash. I have also noticed that you have other small spots around.

Most possibly Lyme disease in early stage especially if you have been having outdoor activities recently. Contact with your doctor as soon as possible to start antibiotic therapy and prevent further complications.

You need to run further tests:
- complete blood count
- ELISA and/or Western blot test to confirm the disease.

All the best!
Dr.Albana
