What Causes Dark Brown Patches On Cheeks?

Melasma; Sunscreen and pigment reducing cream
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us
I have gone through your query and I have understood your concern. You seem to have a condition known as melasma, which presents as brownish patches on cheeks and dorsum of nose.
If I was the treating doctor I would suggest you to use a sunscreen e.g Sebamed's sunscreen with spf 50, would be ideal. Apply it all over the face every 2-3 hours, throughout the day (e.g 8 am, 11 am and 2 pm).
At night, you may use a cream containing pigment reducing agents e.g Kojic cream Or Demelan cream Or kojiglo forte cream, once daily at night.
These are prescription medications and therefore I suggest that you visit a dermatologist in your vicinity for the needful. You may also take a few sessions of chemical peeling from your dermatologist. A glycolic acid chemical peel is particularly useful for melasma.
