What Causes Dark Green Stool And Stomach Discomfort In An Infant?
This is probably nothing major to worry about.
Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX
I think these are either due to teething or a mild attack of a flu-virus or other stomach virus. I presume that you have vaccinated your son against the diarrhoea virus (rota virus). You should keep an eye on the stool frequency, feed him normally, check his temperature and see that he keeps passing urine as usual (both volume and frequency). If you do not see any improvement in the next 2 days, you should go in the A&E and get him checked by the paediatric resident.
I hope this helps.

P.S. At this stage, his fretfulness is normal as he is teething, so please do not worry about the same. Give him teething toys or rub some glycerine solution on his gums to relieve his pain.
Yes, the Rotavirus vac. is part of the UK schedule
Detailed Answer:
Dear Prabhjyot,
In the UK, the RV vaccine is given at the ages of 2 and 3 months to all children. It is an oral vaccine.
