Brief Answer:
Information

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Usually green associated with stools is not concerning, but if it continues beyond a few days, then do talk with your doctor.

Green color passed per rectum is often due to having eaten green foods, such as green leafy vegetables. It can also happen from green food coloring, or green that is in supplements.

Green can also happen when there is increased bowel motility such as with diarrhea. Then there isn't time for the digestive tract to break down the bile pigments and they show up as a green color. But that doesn't sound like what is going on given that you didn't mention symptoms like diarrhea.

If she is otherwise feeling fine, give it a couple of days and it should resolve.

I hope this information helps. Please let me know if I can provide further information.
