Question: hi
i obtained some dark lines over my mouth for six months now ,didn't have them before
they look like a motstach and they although i always pluk my hair over the mouth
how can i get rid of them

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

In my opinion dark lines are probably due to contact dermatitis due to hair removal creams and plucking of hairs.

It will be better to avoid creams and use manual methods for hair removal.Laser hair removal is the best technique in today's era.

Use a good sunscreen over the area.Mild steroids like hydrocortisone will help in reducing allergy & thereby decrease in pigmentation.I will advise to use this cream at the most 2 weeks.

Avoiding lip and other cosmetics will help in early reduction of pigmentation.Hot water application will also cause burning and increased pigmentation.Frequent application of ice packs seems to be helpful.
