Question: Hi I have a dark red spot on my gums just below one of my teeth. It doesnt hurt to touch, what could it be?

I have gone through your query and image.
As far as the red spot over the gums is concerned, it can be a traumatic ulcer because of the trauma while brushing or from food particles.
Nothing to be panic, you can topical anesthetic like lignocaine and topical analgesic like choline salicylate and topical antiseptics like chlorhexidine.
Do saline gargling. If the lesion does not heal in a week, then consult a oral physician and get it evaluated.
