What Causes Dark Stools And Itchy Anus?

Question: Hi, yesterday i ate bright and white colored food and i drank a milk date juice and i think it was rotten, im also on antibiotic for my sinus. At night i had a clay colored stool and this morning i had darker one. Plus i have an itchy anus after i get out of the toilet but this symptom comes and goes for a week now and not chronic, it only might happen after passing out stool. Anyway, my skin is not yellow and my eyes are white plus my urine is not dark and i have no pain in my right abdonimal side and no nauesea, vomiting, fatigue.... what can it be? Im very worried

Hi,

I have gone through the photo you sent in and I can say as following:
Your stool is changing color and changes in bowel movements are due to antibiotic use that might has caused:
- changes in the intestinal flora
- possible candida of the bowels
- increased bowel movements

I advise to run analysis of the feces to exclude fungal infection (candida) of the bowels and to start taking probiotics to optimize intestinal flora.

There is nothing worrisome happening to you. It is a temporary condition caused by antibiotic use. Once you finish taking antibiotics, everything will be settled. Meanwhile, should run the culture of stool for candida and should take probiotics as mentioned earlier.
