What Causes Decreased Fetal Movements During Pregnancy?
Follow the advice.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for writing to us again.
Congratulation to you and your wife for her pregnancy.
I can certainly understand your concern.
Baby movements are normally an indicator of fetal well being.
Baby movement can decrease after 36 weeks of pregnancy because this time baby head get engaged, there is less space for baby movement, baby is growing in size and pattern of baby movement change it is mainly rolling movement rather than kicking as previously.
Baby movement can decrease during day time, she feels more movement in the evening or night.
In my opinion, if she feels less baby movement, then she should lie down in her left lateral position and feel her baby movement for 2 hrs.
If baby movement is less than 10 movements in 2 hrs. Then she should consult her treating doctor immediately otherwise there is no need to worry.
She should know her baby movement pattern if she feels that her baby is not moving properly, then she should consult her treating physician immediately.
Hope I have answered your query if you have further questions I will be happy to assist you.
Good luck.
Regards
