What Causes Deep Pain Near My Right Shoulder That Radiates To My Breast Region?
Question: I have been having a deep pain near my right shoulder blade that radiated under my armpit to the side of my breast. The pain comes and goes. I have had it for a few months, but the severity and frequency has become more frequent. I have had no injury to this area and the pain is not affected by movement. I am a 40 yo women. I had my gallbladder removed d/t stones 2 years ago. I had hysterectomy about a year ago. I have been Dx with mitral valve prolapse but not bad enough to require meds. I had a heart XXXXXXX about 2 years ago with no additional concerns. I was a smoker, but quit over a month ago. I take no meds other them Motrin/Tylenol to try to control this pain... But it is ineffective. What could this be?
