What Causes Delay In Menstrual Bleeding When Diagnosed With PCOD?
Question: Hi doctor my sis in law is 16 years old and she has alot of health issues. Her periods are not on time. 3-4 months she hasnt got her period. Her weight is about 97 KILOS please check attached results

Your sister in law most likely suffering with hormonal imbalance due to obesity, most common cause at her age is PCOD ( polycystic ovarian disease) for which you have to go for pelvic ultrasound.
In her reports iron deficiency anemia is there and insulin resistance is there.
Bad cholesterol is also on higher side.
So for her problems she should do proper exercise and lifestyle changes including low carbohydrate and high protein diet.

What medications can she take for insulin? Also does she have thryoid?
