Question: dear ..dr
I hve my periods
On 3 nov 2014 ...after tht i had sex .. N take i pill after tht i had periods on 22 nov. 2014 ...after tht i m hving no periods ...i have take 3 pregancy test ..all are negative ..nd on 2jan 2015 take cyclenorm p & e ..what is the matter ..m i pregnent ..befer tht i m having severe abdominal pain ..plz help me sir !!:(

If you have missed your periods but pregnancy test is negative, then dont need to worry, its a common side effect after taking ipill that the next few periods are delayed or irregular.
The abdominal pain or cramps you are experiencing could well be a part of premenstrual syndrome which indicates that the menses would ensue in few days . However dysmenorrhoea or pain can be controlled by TAB MEFENAMIC ACID 500mg thrice a day for 4-5 days or till pain is relieved. This would help in menstrual /PMS cramps. take plenty of water with it.

yes the periods can be restarted with the help of progestin withdrawal technique but it has a course of 5 days.
so as you have cramps already, so if you dont start your menses in 48 hrs , then as pregnancy is ruled out ..you can take ....
TAB MEDROXYPROGESTERONE ACETATE 10mg twice a day for 5 days... and then after the last dose, you r withdrawal bleed should start within next 7 days.
Presently if cyclonorm is ineffective then you may add mefenamic acid to it alternately and then twice a day dosage schedule.

But now as its been more than 15 days after missing periods, you can consider an ultrasound pelvis to look for endometrial thickness . If the thickness is more than 10m , then you should start on medroxyprogesterone acetate tab 10mg twice a day for 5 days . Then wait for periods to start in next 7 days. Thats called withdrawal bleed.
You need not worry...just follow the advise.
