What Causes Delay In Menstruation?
Question: i havent had my period in almost 2 months. i think last time was around dec 10th. i am 22, not pregnant, periods have always been regular. i went to see a doctor and he took a few blood tests. i called back for the results and he didnt bother explaining anything . his assistant\secretary told me to go on the pill and i asked if i should come in to see the doctor and she said no need... I dont think this is normal and i am going to see another gyno. thoughts?
Brief Answer:
Yes do that
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I can understand your concerns.
It is your right to know your reports, even if its normal.
Even if you want to change your obgyn you should ask for your reports.
Not getting periods at 22 is not normal. Also starting pills when you already dont have periods does not make sense.
I will advise you to get your reports and yes definitely change your obgyn consultant.
