What Causes Delay In Periods After Having I Pill?
Question: My gf took 3 iPills within a month...now, her periods are delayed by almost 2 weeks. Even though the urine test came negative, I wish to know by how many more days her periods can be delayed?

As you might be knowing ipill has progesterone which causes delay of periods always.
As she has taken a very high dose and that too at irregular intervals it will definitely cause derangement of normal period pattern.
Usually periods commence between 2-3 weeks after the last dose of I pill.
In my opinion wait for another week and in case she still doesn't get her periods. Then visit a gynecologist for examination. In case she finds everything normal she will give you medicine for getting periods.
Ipill has a side effect of causing tubal ectopic pregnancy which can give negative Pregnancy test despite of harboring in body.

Thanks. If she would be given a medicine to make her periods occur - will that medicine make her periods regular and normal like before she consumed the ipills? Also, for how many days she would need to be on that treatment? Lastly, will that period-inducing medicine have any adverse effects?
