Question: Hello - my son is 13 months old and no teeth has formed yet (though there is a sign for the past few months). Is there anything I should check? Please advise.

I have gone carefully through the query and understand your concerns. Sometimes delay in tooth eruption occurs with the teeth having already formed in the sockets. That is not a cause of concern. But what concerns us is whether there is abberation in teeth formation where the normal formation of teeth is interrupted due to some reason. I would insist you to visit a dentist. He will he able to take an X-Ray of the gums and see what is going on.
