What Causes Delayed Menstruation After Taking Ovral L?

Question: Hi I had a medical abortion last month and doctor adviced me to take ovarl l tablet for 21 days. I have completed my pack on Sep 13. Now the date is Sep 19. Still I didnt get my periods. Does the medical abortion is failure or should I have to wait for one or two days? Please help

I would like to know if you had proper bleeding after completion of the kit intake.
And if you had it properly and there is no pain or spotting anymore then nothing to worry.
So just wait for 1 week more for periods but in case you still don't get them get an ultrasound done.

Thanks for the response. Ya I had heavy bleeding for 4 days and after which I was normal. I dont have any pain. Is there any chance of abortion failure?

Though the chances of abortion are unlikely especially since you don't have any pain or bleeding but still there is nothing conclusive in medicine so just wait for another week as delay in periods is very common after abortion.
Most likely you will get your periods in 3-5 days and won't need further assistance.
