Repeat the test after 3-4 days

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query in healthcaremagic.com
This is Dr. Swarnava dattagupta answering your query.
I understand your concern.
Home pregnancy tests are not the gold standard method to confirm pregnancy, however they are very easy to do and hence done regularly. You have not had your periods at expected time and have got a negative pregnancy test too. This can mean two possibilities-
Either you are pregnant but the hCG levels are not high enough to be detected, or you are not pregnant and your periods are being delayed.
If you have history of irregular periods, such delay might be possible.
My suggestion will be to wait for 3-4 days, and if your periods come by then, chances of pregnancy are ruled out. Otherwise, get a repeat Pregnancy test done to check the pregnancy status.
What should be done next can be decided as per the test results.
Hope i have answered your question.
If you have any further questions i will be happy to help.
Regards.
Any time of the day will do
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Sorry for the late reply.
You can take your pregnancy test at any time of the day. The test results do not depend on the time of testing.
However, if you wish, you can give first morning sample for testing.

Follow as advised
Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Congratulations on your pregnancy.
I have not heard about any ill effects of guava during pregnancy, either in the first trimester or any other time. So I do not believe that it would be harmful.
However, it would be best if you just confirm it from your gynaecologist, though I personally believe that you should not worry.
Hope this was helpful.
Wish you good health.
