Question: Hi...my periods was due on 31st Jul...I took regestrone from 21st Jul to 26th Jul...I have not got my periods yet....I had unprotected sex with my husband on 18th 19th & 21st Jul...is there a chance for me to be pregnant and since I had taken regestrone...will it affect my baby...plz suggest

Regestrone 5mg tablet is a progestin (female hormones). It works as part of hormone replacement therapy by replacing the amount of oestrogen in the uterus. It works to bring on menstruation by replacing the natural progesterone that some women are missing.
Chances of pregnancy are low. Delay in period is due to hormonal effects of regestrone .If you take it only for five days than it will not affect your baby.
