What Causes Delayed Menstruation, Sore Nipples And Bloating Along With Backache?

Question: hi, i am two days late, have very sore nipples for about a week or so, back ache, bloated and gas. I had some spotting this morning but it seems to have cleared up. i also did a pregnancy test yesterday that was negative. could something be wrong with me?

I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Delayed periods can be due to pregnancy, stress or hormonal disturbances.
Sore nipples, bloating, backache are symptoms present both in early pregnancy as well as in premenstrual phase.
If the urine pregnancy test is negative, pregnancy is ruled out.
I will suggest you to wait for a week, if the periods still don't come, then do repeat the urine pregnancy test, if still negative, then do get your hormonal profile done,
