What Causes Delayed Period Despite Having Negative Pregnancy Test?

I came off the implant in may and had a period may XXXXXXX and July but did not have one last month. I should of come on my period this month by now and I have not. I have sore aching breasts and my breasts chest shoulder and pelvic area/top of thighs have blue veins quite prominent. my nipples are erect and the XXXXXXX glands are sticking out. I have nausea and dizziness on and off and I am exhausted.
I did a pregnancy test last Friday and today both negative
I don't know what is going on? should I retest tomorrow with my first urine?
I doubt that you are pregnant with a negative test you just have bad PMS
Detailed Answer:
Hello and I hope I can help you today.
I have reviewed your medical history and previous queries in order to best answer your question.
It is written in your medical history in previous queries that you at some point had PCOS. PCOS is a condition that gives patients irregular periods and hormonal irregularities. It can also cause acne, hair growth and difficulty losing weight. It is also a lifelong problem that can be difficult to treat for many women.
Hormonal birth control can regulate your symptoms, so it is generally recommended you be on some kind of hormonal birth control, like the pill or others unless you decide to try to become pregnant.
The reason you have such breast tenderness and swelling is that you've basically had PMS for 6 weeks.
Your GYN doctor can prescribe medication to help you get your period and feel better, or- if you are trying to become pregnant, just wait and see and if you don't get it in three months and you are not pregnant, your GYN can give you medication to restart your period and help you get pregnant.
I hope this adequately answered your question and my advice was helpful. If you need anything further, do not hesitate to contact me again.
Best wishes, Dr. Brown
