Brief Answer: Nothing to worry, wait for another week. Detailed Answer: Hello Ms XXXXXXX Thanks for posting your query. Taking the emergency contraceptive pill (iPill) can delay the periods as it is a hormone similar to the hormones in the body that regulate the normal menstrual cycle, so you don't need to worry, at times a period can be missed when you take this. Please wait for another week and see if you get your period, if you don't get the period in one week then you should do a urine pregnancy test, this can be done easily at home, you can buy a home pregnancy kit (Velocit kit) from a nearby pharmacy, do the test as per instructions on the package. It is advisable to perform this test with the first urine sample of the day as soon as you wake up, if the test is ambiguous or negative, you may repeat the test after 3 or 4 days, if two consecutive tests come back negative then you have nothing to worry. To avoid such situations it is better to be safe by using a condom. I hope this answers your question, please feel free to write back in case you have any doubts or further concerns. Wishing you all the best. Warm regards.

Brief Answer: Doesn't mean much as of now. Detailed Answer: Hello Ms XXXXXXX At this point a clear white discharge doesn't mean anything serious if you don't have any other symptom such as itching or pain. Since you have a delayed or missed period, the white discharge could be due to altered hormone levels. If the white discharge gets worse or if you develop any itching or pain, then you should see your doctor because that would mean you have got an infection. I hope this answers your question. Regards

Brief Answer: Relax, it is unlikely to come positive. Detailed Answer: Dear XXXXXXX Relax, as a medical professional, it is my duty to inform you all probable outcomes, it does not mean all probabilities have equal chance of happening. As I said earlier, the chances of you being pregnant are very low, if you have taken an iPill within 72 hours of sexual intercourse then the risk is 0.8%, that is, the chances of you becoming pregnant are only 0.8%, that is really very very low. So please relax and stop thinking stupidly. Trust me, even if your parents came to know about this, they would humiliate you and scold you for a few days but they will certainly help you get an abortion, no parent will want to harm their own children, no matter what their children do. And for your information, let me tell you something, having sex is not bad, it is not immoral too. Only thing that is bad is, you not being brave enough to stand for your right to choose a life you want to live, you very well understand that you live in a country that is regressive and filled with idiots, when you know this you should be careful and protect yourself by using a condom, how much does a condom cost after all, but if you willingly did not choose to use a condom then you should be willing to face any criticism by the society, you are an adult now, you have right to choose how you live your life, so when you make a choice, you must assert your right live the way you have chosen. Talking about suicide is not a solution to anything, understand one thing very clearly, you do not get a second chance to live, do not think of ending your life even in your wildest dreams. I would like you to do the following things. 1. Go to a psychologist, take your boyfriend with you, he is equally responsible, talk to the psychologist, trust me, it will help you greatly in dealing with the social aspect of your current situation whatever the result of the test, please talk to you a psychologist. 2. Stop thinking about what might happen, as I said the chances of you being pregnant are very very low. 3. Consult a gynecologist if you don't get your period in another week, you don't need your parent's permission to get an abortion, you are an adult, you can take the responsibility on yourself, and remember, this is the worst case scenario. Now just take deep breaths, and close your eyes and go to sleep. Get up in the morning and go to a psychologist first thing in the morning. Please do not hesitate to write back to me, I am available to help you any time. I do understand the mental agony you are going through. Take care and good luck.
