Brief Answer:
Pregnancy is unlikely
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,welcome to HealthcareMagic forum.
You had a course of sysron N to delay periods. This a progesterone preparation(norethisterone),having menstrual disturbances as a very common side effect. This can also cause vaginal discharge and abdominal cramps.Usually this regularizes its own in coming few months.
If you had a negative pregnancy test after 7 days of missing period, pregnancy is highly unlikely.Anyhow, you can repeat the test after 5-7 days.If still negative, you are not pregnant.Just wait for next cycle.Only if the irregularity persists,we need a detailed evaluation.
Hope I have answered your query.
Wishing you good health.

i had an unprotected intercource in my ovulation time...n i had my periods after i stopped the tablet sysyron n...but nt thiz month???should i go for some progestron tablet to get my periods or go for an ultrasound to chk for pregnency
Brief Answer:
go for Ultrasound or serum beta HCG
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
I understand your concern.
Kindly note that, menstrual disturbance caused by progesterone pills are slow to come and slow to go.It may not be apparent from the very next cycle itself.
Pregnancy test depends on detection of betaHCG in urine. This usually become positive soon after missing period. If it is negative 1 week after missing period, pregnancy is very unlikely(these test kits are having almost 99% sensitivity and specificity),even if you had unprotected intercourse.
If you are so obsessed, rather than going for progesterone pills, you can go for USG or serum beta HCG level to rule out pregnancy(although with a negative UPT this is usually not suggested). If not pregnant,it is better to wait for the cycle to come its own for 1-2 months rather than inducing with progesterone.
Anyhow,if you want to induce cycle, kindly see your doctor, and he will guide you.
Hope now you got cleared,
Thank you.
