Question: I had an unprotected intercourse almost 3 weeks back, now it seems like I am delayed on my periods. It suppose to start on 9th of Apr. it didn't start yet. Should go for pregnancy test. If so how should stop my pregnancy.

You need to consult a Gynecologist for it who can prescribe you the medicines for medical abortion. You need to take them accordingly. I usually prescribe my patients tablet mifepristone and misoprostol. You can request your doctor to prescribe the same. The cost would be around 1000 to 1500 INR depending on the number of doses required and your management. Heavy menstrual flow can happen with pain and passage of clots. No disadvantages as such.
