What Causes Derangement Of Periods After Taking Emergency Contraceptives?

Question: Hi doctor,

I had foreplay with my girlfriend (rubbing genitals on each other) at 17th of April. took a morning after just to be sure and now her second period is late :/ do I need to be worried ?

some additional info. 5th of april her period ended 17th of april took morning after pill at the 3th of may she got her period and now she haves light on and off cramps for 7 days. and she haves irregular periods as well

Hello sir, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Slight derangement of periods is very common after taking emergency contraceptive.
There are practically no chances of pregnancy as - - you just had rubbing of genitalia
- took emergency pill
- got normal periods well on time.
This slight pain she is having is most probably a warning for imminent periods on their way as last time her uterus was under effect of pill but no pill this time so body is kind of aching in return.
