What Causes Diarrhea After Oyster Consumption?
![default](/r/images/default.png)
I observed some "garlic clove" looking pieces in my stool its like white cheese inside it floats , what is this and why does this happen?
The first time i saw this was 2 years ago when i went to Florida and ate oysters. i had bad diarrhea for 3 days( every 1 hour ) with very bad rotten egg smelling burps .
Now the diarrhea returns back only when i eat pork , it stops only after every drop is empty from my stomach , it starts with in 2 hours and ends after a day. during which i see this kind of poop with garlic shaped white flotillas.
is there any parasite my stomach bloats quite often , if i feel like going to poop or the first sensation , i have to get to a restroom in less than 15 min or less.
i reach to the nearest restroom as i don't want any accidents . but its very embarrassing to explain i need to rush , i start getting tensed and fearful with this situation.
can any one give me a clear pic about what could be the issue.
my poop stinks very bad , my gas stinks very bad , i have bad breath , my stomach is not very good ,
i have constipation.
Thanks XXXXXXX

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you for asking!
I read carefully all your concerns and I can say as follows:
1. You are reporting to have had diarrhea after oysters consumption. It is due to food poising often associated with contaminated shellfish foods.
2. With regards to "garlic clove”pieces in your stools it may be related with :
- giardiasis lamblia parasites
- Trichinosis infection
- non digested foods during diarrhea
3. Diarrhea after pork uses that stops after your stomach is empty, mostly is related with:
- pork meat intolerance
- pork meat allergy
To my opinion you need to be evaluated with :
- stool test for ova/ parasites to rule out confirm parasites(lamblia and others) infection
- stool test for food intolerance.
Giardiasis is intestinal infection caused by food/ water contaminated with microscopic parasites.
Stop using pork meat because you may be intolerant or allergic to it.
Wish you all the best
