What Causes Diarrhea And Flu?

Question: HI. My son is 31 months old. He has been having diarrhea for three weeks now. He had the flu the first week so the doctor thought the diarrhea was part of it. But now he is all better and the diarrhea has not stopped. I am also worried as he has not been eating well for the past few days. Apart from all of this he is perfectly healthy.

What else can I do to get him to eat? Today he refused to eat anything. He has not put on any weight since November. Also he was born at 34 weeks and we have been worried about his digestive system as we have had issues in the past with him throwing up for days.
