What Causes Diarrhea And Illness Every Time After Intercourse?
Question: My wife gets diarrhea and feels sick every time we have sex
Brief Answer:
Regarding complaints related to sex
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
One possible reason could be that prostaglandins in semen cause this feeling of sickness and cramping. Another possible reason is orgasmic contractions leading to intestinal contractions/ cramping, pain and diarrhea. Does this happen only with unprotected sex or also when you use a condom? Having sex during ovulation can also lead to such a feeling.
Regards

Thanks for the response, I see you are a dermatologist and this question is sti/std related.
Well, this only happens when we have unprotected sex. She starts farting a lot, headache, serious diarrhea. This is really annoying. Please help us to the right channel.

Hi.
I am a Dermatologist and a Venereologist/STD specialist as well. You can use a condom, if that is not an issue. At other times you can try not to ejaculate inside vagina. Another option is if she can take a tablet of ibuprofen, an hour before sex, it might help counter some or all of these symptoms if they really are due to prostaglandins. Some of these symptoms may be contributed by her underlying lactose intolerance. So, cutting down on milk intake would help take care of her lactose intolerance. She can take curd, though

Thanks for the answer but we are trying to have a baby. And I think I may have an std that I infect her with. I’ve done series of tests that came out negative though. Is there a test that I still have to go for and can I get a cure from this ?
Brief Answer:
Need more information
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I don't think that these symptoms in her are of any STD.
Anyways, what all tests have you done? Has she also been screened? Is there any history of a risk exposure that makes you suspect that you have an STD?
