Question: I've got liquid brownish diarrhea very watery and throwing up nothing but water. I also get random sharp pains in the upper stomach.

Now the symptoms you have mentioned sound like an infection, and this needs antibiotics- usually ciprofloxacin and metrogyl are given. Now from the query I am not sure how frequently your episodes are happening. But be warned about fluids. take plenty of fluids. In fact I would suggest meet a doctor who can assess the fluid status of your body. In case it is low, you may need iv fluids. Best of luck Dr Mittal
