Prima Facie, based on your query facts,You seem to have-Gastro-enteritis-which lead to inguinal strain, causing soreness in left operated groin muscles.
Do's Suggested -
Be on Nil By Mouth for a day.
Still other cause needs to be examined with Surgeon and rule it out. Hence I would suggest Second Consult with your attending Surgeon.
USG groin area n abdomen needs to be studied.
Possibility of post- operative complication relating to adhesive obstruction with released strangulation.
