Question : I had bloody diarrhea on Monday thru Tuesday morning, then again Friday night.

Dysentery or bloody diarrhea is indeed a cause for concern and needs to be treated with antibiotics. I would insist you to:
* Get your stool tested for routine microscopy. I am looking for the pus cell count.
* Visit a doctor. He would prescribe you proper antibiotics. He would also examine you to confirm if other pathologies are likely.
* Take ORS (oral rehydration solution) to replenish the lost water and salts.

I would insist you not to ignore it.
