Brief Answer:
Diabetes

Detailed Answer:
Sorry to hear about your problem.

Lack of orgasm is not typically associated with diabetes. When long standing, especially poorly controlled diabetes has affected the nerves, one of the manifestations of 'neuropathy' can be Autonomic neuropathy.
When this affects the sexual function, it manifests as ED and retrograde ejaculation (meaning, the semen instead of coming out goes in the reverse direction into the bladder)
ED is associated with autonomic neuropathy as well as the conventional risk factors such as high blood pressure and cholesterol and smoking.

There are other medications such as some alpha blockers like tamsulosin and anti depressants like paroxetine that are associated with lack of orgasm. is he on such medications?
Male orgasm is not as well understood as ED and is not directly affected by age. Loss of ejaculation can be related to aging and often exists along with ED.
