What Causes Difficulty In Breathing In The Mornings?
Question: First, how can I find a dr that actually listens and cares? My husband has difficult breathing first thing in the morning but gets a little better during the day. He says it feels like something pressing on the bottom of his lungs. Dr he has told him to loose weight, which he has, but the pressures are still there. They sent him to a specialist that supposedly did an x-ray, but that didn't show up anything. He is getting worse and no one listens. He's had this condition now for 3 years. I don't think they're doing the right kind or tests or x-rays. Suggestions? Thanks.
Why won't doctors do tests a patient suggests when it directly relates to their problem? It's like the doctors have a set regime and can't, or don't want to, think out of the box or really research the international/national medical databases.

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query on HealthcareMagic.
I can understand your problem and your agony.
What I can get from your history that your husband has difficulty in breathing which is more pronounced during morning.
Your doctor has suggested your husband to loose weight which suggests that he was overweight.
Difficulty in breathing occurs in diseases of respiratory tract and/or diseases of cardiovascular system.
Kindly, post me result of investigations which your husband has already had so that I can guide you further rather than suggesting you same investigations all over again.
Thanks
