What Causes Difficulty In Conceiving Despite Having TSH And AMH Levels?
Question: I am 37 years old and married for 2 years, working at different places. Though trying off and on to stay together during fertile period. But could not concieve. Tried thrice with follicular monitoring having fertomid, hucog inj.and Duphaston tablets for around 3 cycles but inspite of some follicles rupturing every cycle, could not concieve.
Polyp was detected in the endometrium along with mild asherman syndrome. Got operated in December through laproscopic hysteroscopy and the tube test was also performed whereafter the surgeon ruled out any issues with the reproductive system and we were advised to have relation in the upcoming cycle in January. We tried naturally with fertomid 50 and hucog 5000iu and Duphaston and pregineva further to the ovulation, but no conception happened.
We had first IUI in February but no results. We again got IUI done in March, this time with 2 fsh injections as well whereafter the follicles were healthy, ruptured and had triple layer 11mm ET, but again failed to concieve. My AMH is 2.7 and TSH and other hormonal tests are normal. My husband's sperm count is normal as well. Considering that I have continuously been taking clomid and other hormonal support for 3 months now, should we have the same repeated in this cycle as well. Please advise.

Brief Answer:
IVF is better option
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
I understand your concerns.
You have given enough number of attempts at IUI and natural conception.
Sometimes pregnancy is difficult though everything is good. This is called unexplained infertility.
Considering your age and attempts it is better to go ahead with IVF at the earliest.
I don't see any reason to continue with IUI again.
