What Causes Difficulty In Passing Gas And Bloating?
Question: just about everything I eagt repeats on me. I have a low grade pain at the top of my stomach; my symptoms
include an occasional flare-up in which I have great difficulty passing gas, even though I feel
bloated. I take a digestive enzyme on the recommendation of a pharmacist. They have helped,
but I still have all the difficulties mentioned above. I am dairy allergic/sensitive, in fact cannot tolerate anything beef/cow but can each goat cheeses. .In fact I eat almost no metal all.I have hd a gastroscopy some three years ago, which showed up
nothing except some polyps.
Brief Answer:
Colonoscopy is necessary.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
Upper middle abdomen is where stomach is located indeed. However just below and in front of the stomach, large intestine is also present.
Problems with passing gas, bloating are very characteristic for partial bowels obstruction. Especially if you also have constipation and/or diarrhea (can be alternately), blood in stool, weakness, low hemoglobin level.
At your age, first thing which should be done in such case is colonoscopy. It is because the risk of colon cancer significantly increases over 50.
Please do not wait any longer and have this test done.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
