Thanks Doctor for asking my well being. It is better. The frequency, not able speak up normally is reduced. I am not sure if it is linked with my stress. You asked for pictures, i don't have it. Pls suggest few exercises that make things better. Thanks, lalitha
Brief Answer:
Visit to dentist for follow up.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Lalitha.
Thanks for sharing your concern.
After reading your post here I can suggest you following things. Please do them for better results.
1.As you have mentioned clearly in history that your problem in speech is reduced. That means your teeth, tongue and lips have adapted to this new change(filling done).
2.Soon you will find there is no difficulty in speaking at all. This is natural way of adaptation. There is no particular exercise for this but definitely, you can improve by speaking more and more. Please do not feel shy to speak words which are more or less pronounced with the help of your front teeth like c,f,l,t,v etc. This itself is a kind of exercise.
3.If you find any kind of lisping and interference, then please visit your dentist for follow up.A mild correction by him/her can make things very convenient for you.
So please do that if required and do take good care of yourself.
Wish you good health.
Let me know for further doubts.
Thanks.
Take care.

Hi , cementing was done for closing gaps. I got the speech problem only after cementing. I will send pictures shortly.
Brief Answer:
Follow up required.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome.
Thanks for sending me the photographs.
After evaluating the photographs,it appears that the incisal edges(lower third of upper teeth) are thick, which can cause interference while speaking.
For proper speech, exact anatomy of teeth should be replicated and not mere closing all the gaps and giving a beautiful crown.
Therefore if you get adapted within a period of three to four weeks then no problem else please meet your dentist for follow up,as I suggested earlier too.
Hope it helps.
Please let me know for further doubts.
Thanks.
Take care.
