Question : Hi Doctor,
My wife aged 30 is suffering from throat pain. Her throat pains while swallowing food and cough started since last night. there is too much of saliva excretion during night.

Hi,

Thanks for posting the query,

The symptoms of your wife suggests of throat infection. I suggest you to have TAB. Combiflam and Betadine mouth gargle for throat gargling at least 2 times a day.

If the symptoms still persists for 3 days then she would need a course of antibiotic.
