Brief Answer:
next 4-6 hrs is really important for you..

Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXX, Welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern,

First of all, DO NOT PANIC and DO NOT STRESS Yourself, there're sensitive sphincteric muscles down there, which can go in to spasm if you strain further, just try to relax..

Try to apply hot (luke warm) and cold compression over the urinary bladder (the supra-pubic region) gently and alternatively for the next half an hour and observe..

If you feel pressure to urinate, try to stand up and walk around a little then go to the wash-room..

If despite trying all these, you still feel unable to void, then catheterization should be considered as not only it'll relieve all the pressure symptoms but also it's important to consider to prevent any trauma to the KUB (Kidney ureter and mostly the bladder)..

Don't worry, it'll be done under local anesthesia, you won't feel any pain..

Also it's important to consider a Urine routine analysis along with culture sensitivity (to rule out any UTI) as well as prostate & prostatic secretion examination (to rule out any prostatic inflammation/infection ) ..

Hope this is clear now..

Don't worry, but do follow the advises as mentioned to get well soon..

Take Care
Kind Regards
