What do you think?
Possible ineffectively of CPAP, specifically for you
Detailed Answer:
Hello once again ma'am.
Thank you so much for that information ma'am.
In my opinion, to start with there are numerous causes for sleep apnea and it is always wiser to treat the cause that the symptoms or the resulting presentation. Because as long as the cause is present, the symptoms will continue to linger.
An elaborate neuromuscular and cardiac profile should be conducted and all causes should be treated and/or ruled out. CPAP is indeed considered quite helpful in individuals with moderate-severe sleep apnea but it can at times be ineffective.
For this reason, there are various other devices that can help. I shall list a few out for you:
+Expiratory positive airway pressure devices
+Oral devices
+Adjustable airway pressure devices
+Surgery: Jaw correction, implants, tracheostomy, etc.
I completely understand if you may not be finding relief with the CPAP device. But I would advice trying the device out for a few more days with proper instructions from your doctor on its use. Only if the device has failed to prove its effectivity in you can we consider other options.
I really hope you can soon find relief and live a comfortable and normal life. Please do not hesitate to write to me for any more help, I am always here for you ma'am.
Best of luck.
