Brief Answer:
Probably a side effect of ciprofloxacin!
Detailed Answer:
HI,
Ciprofloxacin is known to cause tendon problems and this is even more likely in adults. This is the probably the case with you. Unfortunately, there is nothing specific that can be done at this time. Physical therapy with stretching and massage should help. I will not recommend any specific drugs at this time for this.
I hope this clears your doubts. I wish you well. Feel free to follow up with me if need be.
Kind regards!

Is it unusual for the symptoms to last a year or more--I still feel some awkwardness when I walk----if yes then how long will it take to disappear
Thank You
Thank You
Brief Answer:
Unusual to last a year!
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
A year is too long and that is very unusual and unexpected. In this case, I will suggest you get a complete neurological exam to tel whether for real there is any other explanation or not. If there is none, then for sure that's the problem and I cannot specifically tell exactly how long this would be completely over as this is grossly abnormal that the symptoms last this long.
Sincerely,
Unusual to last a year!
