What Causes Discoloration Around The Penis After Using A Penis Pump?

Question: My situation is strange and admittedly stupid. I used a penis pump to enlarge my penis and my penis became very discolored. I used a tca chemical peel on my penis to try and remove some of the discoloration I'm 33 years old. I did the peel in January 2018, so its been 5 months and I still have loss of feeling and cannot maintain erection during intercourse. is this permanent? Do you guys think there is nerve damage or is this a result of new skin needing to be grown?

Thanks for the query,

Based on the fact that you have posted you have attempted vacuum pump to your penis to achieve the erection and developed discoloration of penile skin about five months back and have noticed that the discoloration is not waning away to your satisfaction and since then is facing the problem of erectile dysfunction.

I shall be happy if you can post me more details to help me in making precise comments:
1) Will you please upload photograph of your penis on erection ?

The discoloration of the skin is mostly due to rupture of a small tributary of the superficial vein of penis and accumulation of blood in subcutaneous tissue of the penis. Ideally, this should have been absorbed by now.

I would suggest you consult a Urologist for clinical examination and get following basic test done to establish cause for ED:
1) Ultrasound Scanning of Penis
2) Color Doppler Ultrasound Scanning of Penis

Further treatment will depend upon result of these tests and final diagnosis.

I was using the penis pump to make my penis bigger, I was not using it to help me get an erection. I have never had a problem getting an erection, but after using the penis pump for a few months, my penis became dark in color. 5 months ago, January 2018, I used the tca chemical peel on my penis to try to remove some of the discoloration, but it made me lose feeling/sensitivity in my penis afterwards. I still cannot maintain an erection during intercourse because of the loss of feeling in my penis skin. do you think I damaged the nerves in my penis skin from the tca chemical peel, or is the loss of feeling/sensitivity because the penis skin needs to continue to grow back? Is this permanent damage in your opinion, or do you think I will regain feeling/sensitivity as time goes on?

The problem of Erection that you are facing can be due to trivial injury to Tunica Albugenia a sheath that covers erectile bodies . This can be confirmed only on doing these tests.

Discoloration of skin would not lead to this problem.
