Brief Answer:
Adequate fluids prevent UTI
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, thanks for the information.I understand your concern. In my opinion your history might suggest mild PID associated with urinary tract infection.
As you dont have symptoms like fever, vaginal discharge associated with foul smelling the PID might be mild only. The pain might be due to bladder infection or mild PID. Dont worry the response to medicines might come after the completion of antiboitic course. And wait for the culture and sensitivity report.Take adequate fluids.PID might subside after course of antiboitics. If the period is delayed for first time then do a urine pregnancy test after a week.
Avoid stress if any as it delays conception further due to hormonal imbalance.
Take adequate fluids upto 2-3 litres, coconut water, cranberry juice to prevent UTI?
Hope this satisfies your query.
Feel free to discuss further.
Best regards...dr.srilatha.

Brief Answer:
Conceving during PID and urinary tract infection is slightly difficult
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Dear I can understand your concern
in my opinion the chance of conceiving will be slightly less due to irregular periods and PID
it's a defensive mechanism by body
in case of infection body will decrease the chance of conceiving.
the antibiotic is not good and usually we will not suggest during pregnacy.
we suggest only certain safe antibiotics which are safe for baby.
I suggest you to consider doing pregnant test after completion of antibiotic course.
don't worry antibiotic is given as a short course only so it won't be a problem.
Hope I am able to answer your query
feel free to ask any query
