What Causes Discomfort After Retracting Penis Foreskin?
This first time i had ever able to slid back my foreskin back till my head.i am worried, though it is not painful,i am feeling discomfort moving around
It is normal.Do not worry.
Detailed Answer:
Hello Sivanand,
Thanks for writing to healthcaremagic.
Normally glans(a front-head part behind the ring of penis) is covered by foreskin-prepuce.This foreskin is attached to penis by a skin fold at lower part behind the ring of penis. In boys after age of puberty physical changes occurs for maturity and he starts masturbation and later on sex. After such sexual activity for a year or two, foreskin gradually slides backward and retractable up to behind the glans.
In 80% of males foreskin becomes easily retractable behind the glans. In whom it is not retracted, massage and manual slow retraction gradually help to retract it fully or else circumcision ( a minor surgical procedure to cut foreskin) is done.
In your case the normal process is started now.You are able to slide foreskin back and that is without pain is a good sign. It suggest you will be able to retract it fully and able to enjoy sex easily. Discomfort might be due to sensitivity of glans. When glans is covered with foreskin, there is no issue. But when foreskin is retracted, touching the glans will cause some sensation which may perceive as discomfort. This discomfort will gradually go away.
Hope you have understood well.If still any query, I will be happy to help further.

Dr.Chintan Solanki.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sivanand,
Thanks for follow up.Yes you got it right.Senitivity will decrease gradually and later on you will have no discomfort at all.
Foreskin if retracted behind glans without pain, it also should be revert back to cover glans when penis becomes soft.Have you tried to revert it back?
You can initially use condom to avoid discomfort from glans.
All the best.
