What Causes Discomfort Around Testicles After A Bilateral Varicocele Surgery?
Question: hello Dr,
i did my bilateral varicocele surgery on November 10,2015, but im still feeling a discomfort around my testes
questions are
1, does varicocele re appear again and why do i still feel discomfort around my testes even after the surgery, still feel like there is heat inside the testes sometimes?would i need to go for another surgery?though i havent gone to see my Urologist, he asks me to come back in 3 months time which feb,but im thinking of going in january
2,each time i sleep with my wife, i always feel discomfort all over my body like im having small headache and sensation around my dick, and i dont think its infections cos we ve done several tests nothing shows, please what could be the problem
3, does varicocele surgery automatically increase sperm count without using any supplements?
4, i am 30yrs, my dick is so small , will attach pic, what could be the problem?is this what they call micro-phallus?
5, my sperm count is 17m is there hope of having a baby?

1) There is possibility of recurrence of Varicocele in remaining tributaries of veins in few cases can not be ruled out .The discomfort that you have in scrotum takes few months (2-3) to get resolved .
2) The discomfort in body and headache that you get while having intimacy with your wife ia not due to any organic cause but is due to anxiety .
3) It is not documented or proved by any scientific data or research that Varicocele surgery increases sperm count in every individual after surgery .There is documentary evidence to suggest the sperm count in 30 % of patients after undergoing surgery .
4) After having look at photographs of your penis I would state that it is normal in length and girth .As such the length and girth of penis in flaccid state has no significance at all .It is the hardness of penis on erection that is important for sexual enjoyment and satisfaction of both the partners .
5) With sperm count of 17 million there is possibility of you to impregnate your wife with the help of newly assisted reproductive techniques .You need to consult qualified Infertility specialist for guidance and help.

I'm really Glad Dr that you were the one who answered me cos i have talked to you bout it before, so does that mean i shouldn't worry bout the discomfort now, and wait for the 3 months he asked me to come back then i call do all the test again?can you tell me what the "newly assisted reproductive techniques "is all bout ?just feel ashamed cos its not long, i cant be naked or change clothes in front of friends .
bout the feeling i told you have with sex with my wife, its not when im having sex , its after the sex i feel somehow , i dont even know how to explain but i will try and notice more and gives you feed back after
