Brief Answer:
Discomfort in bladder seems to be due to anxiety .

Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query ,based on the facts that you have posted it appears that you had successfully treated cancer of the prostate and now has feeling of discomfort in bladder which gets relieved after passing urine .

Based on the facts that all the required basic tests that have been carried out being normal and has ruled out infection ,stenosis etc ,this could be mostly due to anxiety

Doing Urodynaemic evaluation and finding during feeling phase of bladder may help to trace out any cause for the discomfort .

Consulting a qualified Psychiatrist and counselling may help to resolve this issue .

Brief Answer:
Pressing over bladder not advisable

Detailed Answer:
hello
Thanks for follow up.

Continue taking Flomax .It helps to relax bladder neck which helps to improve urine flow .

Need for pressing over bladder only at day time seems to be due to apprehension and anxiety .

You may try taking cholenergic drug like Bethanechol .It will help to increase bladder contractile power to expel the urine at ease .

Thanks and Regards.
