Brief Answer:
Calf muscle stretching will help.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The uneasy feeling in the knee and ankle after sitting for few hours is likely to be due to pooling of blood in the legs. Other factors are -
Poor fitness levels and lack of regular exercises
Poor nutrition and obesity
Some times referred pain from bulging discs is the reason.
This can be stopped if the calf muscle is stretched. This stretching can often be accomplished by standing up and walking around. Gently massaging the muscle will often help it to relax, as will applying warmth from a heating pad or hot soak. Fluid and electrolyte (especially sodium and potassium) replacement is essential. You can take electrolyte rich fluids or fresh fruit juices to help it.
A simple way to prevent this is to stretch your calf muscle every hour at work 3-4 times and each time holding for 10-15 seconds.
I hope this answers your query.
