Hi,Dear thanks for the query to HCM virtual clinic.
I studied your scanty query and understand your main health concerns.
Supplement with more information-
I would request you to update more information and details as asked -
How it started? did you take outside food?
Is it with cramps and colicky abdominal pains?Does the stool contain mucus ?
Is the blood fresh red or? is it black?
Any nausea with it?Any gases and gurgling in abdomen?
Did you take a stale food?.
Did you have any piles or fissure in the past?
Impression on the facts given-
Colitis with food induced Dysentry with blood,
This seems to have happened due to outside food eating or stale food eating in last 24-48 hours
Treatment Plan advised-
I would advise to check out stool for any cysts and ova and protozoa.
Please consult with your family doctor and get the following treatment with his prescriptions-
Bland liquid diet like rice soup / avoid spices and regular food x for 3-5 days
Electral solution for the recoupment of fluid loss if any x 2-3 days
Anti-spasmodics - and tab lopermide for control of frequency of stool and discomfort with stool frequency x for 3-5 days
Antibiotics with metrogyl drugs x 5 days time to control infection.
Don't worry of the blood in the stool,as it is mostly due to ulceration associated with Colitis.
Hope this would help you to plan treatment with your doctor.
